According to the policies of Beijing Municipality on state-owned enterprise restructuring and the deployment of Shougang Corporation on enterprise restructuring, the company relocated from Zengguang Road in Haidian District to Fusheng Road in Changping District in 2000, opening up a "small-scale, multi variety" business path. On December 21, 2007, the employee representative conference passed the resolution on enterprise restructuring. In November 2008, the industrial and commercial registration was successfully completed. Beijing Shougang Steel Wire Factory completed the restructuring in 2008 and was renamed as "Beijing Shougang Gitane New Materials Co., Ltd." with a registered capital of 26 million yuan, of which Shougang Corporation held 35% of the shares and employees held 65% of the shares. Belonging to the Party Committee of Shougang Corporation, it marks the smooth completion of the enterprise restructuring work. In April 2016, it was affiliated with the Party Committee of Shougang Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd.
（1）Transforming ideological concepts, significantly enhancing market awareness and development capabilities. Reformed enterprises actively transform their ideological concepts and ways of thinking, gradually shifting from relying mainly on Shougang to expanding into the social market. From 2008 to 2016, Shougang achieved a total of 1163.37 million yuan in external contracts, accounting for 100% of the total contract amount. Enter the national market and actively expand to Iran, Poland, Türkiye and other overseas markets. HRE, NiCr and other products are well-known both domestically and internationally, and their comprehensive performance has reached the same level as similar foreign products.
（2）The scale of the enterprise continues to expand, and the economic benefits have achieved significant growth. From 2008 to 2016, the total assets amounted to 442.77 million yuan, an increase of 127% compared to 194.75 million yuan before the restructuring. The net assets were 85.79 million yuan, an increase of 230% compared to 26.03 million yuan before the restructuring. Accumulated sales revenue of 1163.37 million yuan, with a 39.6% increase in 2016 compared to before the restructuring; The equity attributable to the parent company was 85.79 million yuan, an increase of 59.76 million yuan compared to the original investment of 26.03 million yuan by the parent company.
（3）By increasing investment in technological innovation, the competitiveness of enterprises has significantly improved. From 2008 to 2016, the company has won one provincial-level or above award, completed the national high-tech enterprise certification, invested a total of 15.5 million yuan in scientific research, and obtained eight patents. In 2011, the company was awarded the title of Industry University Research Demonstration Unit in Changping District. The iron chromium aluminum metal fiber wire project obtained the National Key New Product Certificate in May 2012. The new product research and development project has attracted high attention from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Science and Technology. The company strives to implement the development concept of innovation driven development, firmly follows the path of "industry university research application" transformation and development, attaches great importance to the development and utilization of new products, processes and technologies, and has determined the research and development project of ultra easy cutting stainless steel for ballpoint pen heads, which has reached the international advanced level and filled the domestic gap.
（6）Overcome difficulties and climb new heights
Relocation involves purchasing new equipment, researching new processes, and discovering new talents to start a new business. However, in the second year of relocation, due to factors such as equipment selection and product positioning, the company's operations and production have significantly decreased. Therefore, the company's party committee closely focuses on achieving the strategic goal of consolidating the achievements of turning losses, with "innovation, excellence, and entrepreneurship" as the main line, promoting a new round of ideological liberation, strengthening confidence in consolidating the achievements of turning losses, and proposing to consolidate the production scale of the "five major products", improve product technology content and product quality; Consolidate the completed technological transformation project platform to achieve the expected economic benefits; Consolidate and strengthen basic processes, optimize and restructure processes and procedures, and comprehensively integrate them; Consolidate the foundation of quality and cost management, strengthen the management of technical and economic indicators, enhance the competitive advantage of products, and implement business policies that strengthen the economic strength of enterprises.

Each process is trained in a targeted manner based on production characteristics, difficulties, and weak links. Theoretical analysis of the composition, remelting crystallization, intermediate rolling temperature, and drawing compression rate of each steel grade is conducted to identify the reasons that affect surface quality and yield, and solutions are proposed. On the basis of theoretical training, each production process also takes the implementation of refined management in the factory as an opportunity, uses job training as a platform, and comprehensively implements precise job operations. The technical theoretical level and operational skills of operators have been significantly improved.
The long-term stability of product quality is an important cornerstone of the company's business development, and it is also the core connotation of the "SPARK" brand. In 2015, the company's product quality management experienced a process from significant fluctuations to gradual stability, from customer complaints to market recognition. The improvement in product quality led to a gradual rebound in market sales.
Initial achievements have been made in product development. The company attaches great importance to product research and development work, has established a product research and development room, arranged specialized forces to engage in product research and development, formulated annual new product research and development and process research and development plans, and achieved small-scale market supply of the R&D and trial production of the 1404 product. The performance and composition of the electric ceramic furnace strip meet the requirements of users, and the production trial production of 1 ton large steel ingots has been successful in some varieties. The production process route of N36 external circulation processing has been opened up, and the stable rolling process of titanium alloy strips has been undertaken, resulting in a significant improvement in yield.
