PRODUCT ADVANTAGE

The rapid test life is the lifespan of the alloy sample wire measured under laboratory conditions according to rapid test standards and methods. China follows the former Soviet Union's method of evaluating based on cumulative time until burnout with a 2-minute power-on and 2-minute power-off cycle, using a sample size of 0.8 mm in diameter. Generally, alloys with a longer rapid test life also have a longer actual service life.

A higher surface load results in a higher temperature of the element. Conversely, a lower surface load leads to a lower temperature of the element. When the electrical power is determined, selecting a higher surface load will result in a smaller element size, saving on raw materials. However, the surface load of the element is inversely proportional to its service life. The surface load is related to the material, specification, construction, operating temperature, heat dissipation conditions, environmental atmosphere, support material, and frequency of temperature changes of the electrothermal element.

Collapse resistance testing is a method to characterize the high-temperature deformation resistance of large-sized materials.

The test involves using materials of the same specification and subjecting them to long-term heating at 1050℃ to measure the oxidation weight gain. (The oxidation weight gain rate data may vary with different specifications and temperatures.)

APPLICATION DIRECTION
0Cr20Al6 is a classic national standard iron-chromium-aluminum electrothermal alloy. It uses high-purity iron-based raw materials, precisely proportioned with 20% chromium and 6% aluminum as core alloying elements. Strict adherence to low-carbon, low-impurity production standards is maintained, with strict control over harmful impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus. The alloy's internal microstructure is uniform and dense, with stable batch composition, ensuring long-term product quality from the source of production. The product boasts excellent core electrothermal performance parameters. Under standard operating conditions (20℃), its resistivity remains stable at 1.40 μΩ·m. Its temperature coefficient of resistance is suitable for various conventional heating conditions. The power output is balanced throughout operation, without resistance fluctuations or inconsistent heating due to temperature changes. It exhibits high temperature control accuracy and strong adaptability. This alloy can operate safely continuously at 1250℃, with a short-term peak withstand temperature of 1300℃. It perfectly adapts to various complex operating conditions, including continuous high-temperature heating, intermittent start-stop operation, and alternating high and low temperature cycles, meeting the core requirements for stable, uninterrupted operation of industrial equipment around the clock.
Compared to ordinary economical heating alloys, 0Cr20Al6 has particularly outstanding advantages in high-temperature durability and processing adaptability. Under high-temperature operating conditions, a dense and robust alumina protective film can quickly form on the surface. This film has strong adhesion, is not easily peeled off or cracked, and effectively resists high-temperature oxidation, flue gas corrosion, sulfur media erosion, and high-temperature carburization damage, significantly slowing down the aging rate of the alloy matrix. It is also resistant to high-temperature vibration and thermal expansion and contraction deformation losses, extending its actual service life by more than 20% compared to ordinary iron-chromium-aluminum alloys. Long-term use prevents embrittlement, deformation, and breakage, effectively reducing the frequency of heating element replacement and significantly lowering subsequent maintenance costs and downtime losses for enterprises. Simultaneously, the product exhibits excellent cold and hot processing performance, with good ductility and flexibility. It can be customized into various forms such as precision round wire, cold-rolled flat strip, ultra-thin foil, and heating fibers. The finished products have precise dimensions, high surface finish, and good adaptability to secondary processing techniques such as bending, winding, and welding, comprehensively meeting the personalized component customization and mass production needs of different customers.
