As the first vice president of Gitane Electric Heating Research Institute at Shougang, Yang Zhi has been deeply involved in the research and development of electric heating alloys. Since the end of his postdoctoral career at Tsinghua University, he has devoted himself to the company to overcome the difficult problem of high-temperature oxide film growth mechanism, and developed a new process of high stability oxide film iron chromium aluminum, which greatly improves the corrosion resistance of materials. Faced with the urgent need for ultra-high temperature electric heating alloys in the market, he bravely ventured into the "no man's land" and completed the preparation process within six months. Through innovative composite material design and heat treatment processes, the product's service temperature was raised to 1425 ℃, and its deformation resistance was enhanced. Its performance surpassed imported materials and reached the international leading level.

According to the deployment requirements of the company's party committee, he collaborated with the innovation team to establish a Gitane characteristic technology innovation system. By 2025, the company's patent application volume reached a historic high, demonstrating the mission and responsibility of technology workers in the new era through practical work.

Xiaomin is currently the director of the Process Technology Research Office at the Electric Heating Research Institute.

She focuses on the difficulty of controlling the purity of high-temperature alloy materials. In mid-2025, she will lead the promotion of the "Ultra Pure Electric Heating Alloy Process Optimization and Application Research" project, breaking through key technologies such as three-phase deoxidation and electric slag remelting new slag system optimization, and achieving stable gas content of iron chromium aluminum and nickel chromium wire rods at advanced levels.

She led the team to significantly reduce costs and increase efficiency through process innovation, reducing slag production costs by over 60% annually and significantly reducing electricity consumption per ton of steel, creating a large amount of economic benefits throughout the year. Its leading projects have been rated as "international advanced level", won the second prize of Shougang Science and Technology, published multiple high-level papers, and made important contributions to building core technological barriers for the company.

Sun Haoxin is currently the Deputy Director of the Digital Transformation Research Promotion Center.

In 2025, he will focus on the pain points of the company's high-quality development, innovate the application of Internet of Things technology, achieve "production interconnection" of more than 130 main equipment, energy and environmental monitoring points, and lead the construction of an MES system covering the entire process.

Through industry university research cooperation, he developed and put into use the first fully automatic feeding workstation for three-phase electric slag furnaces and a fully automated unit for single-phase electric slag furnaces in China, replacing manual high-temperature operations with robotic arms and improving the level of essential safety. By 2025, more than 20 equipment upgrades and energy-saving and emission reduction renovations will be completed, 4 authorized patents will be obtained, 7 patents will be applied for, and 2 Beijing landmarks will be included in the compilation. The company will be empowered by digitalization to improve the quality and upgrade its production and operation.
