With the birth of the group's steel industry, the iron chromium aluminum alloy and nickel chromium alloy wire from the steel wire factory also appeared in the public eye. Under the guidance of Professor Zhu Jue, the exploration of electric heating alloys began.

  

1.Self reliance and arduous entrepreneurship

  

From scratch, starting from scratch, from producing grass ropes and wires, to refining alloy steel and pulling electric heating wires, the employees of Beijing Steel Wire Factory, under the leadership of Professor Zhu Jue, temporarily built a steelmaking site and in just over two months, produced the first steel ingot with a qualified surface. Faced with multiple difficulties such as lack of experience and technical information, after the rupture of Sino Soviet relations, they worked together with Beijing Iron and Steel Institute, Beihang University, and Tsinghua University to independently develop China's first electric heating alloy new material, research equipment, study processes, and tap talents. According to the urgent needs of the country, they produced electric heating alloy wires and successfully trial produced them, filling the domestic gap and opening the technical door for the development of iron chromium aluminum precision alloys in China. They also created a successful path for the application of rare earth elements in iron chromium aluminum electric heating alloys in China. He has also made contributions to the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" and has received congratulatory messages from the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission multiple times. In 1964, Chairman Zhu De named the small road in front of the original company as "Zengguang Road" during his inspection. The rare earth iron chromium aluminum electric heating alloy won the second prize of the National New Product Award in 1964, and was honored as the "Red Flag Factory" of Beijing in 1958.

  

2.Steady improvement and trial production of products

  

Production and scientific research work are struggling to move forward in adversity. Since the production of iron chromium aluminum heating wire, cracking of wire rods has always been a difficult problem to overcome. At that time, experts who had studied abroad said that industrialized countries were still in the exploration stage and needed to focus on solving the problem of wire rod cracking from the characteristics and new technologies of iron chromium aluminum. So, technicians stationed in the rolling mill section specifically to explore new technologies. They worked together with workers, analyzing each process step by step, and found more than 80 process and technical reasons that caused the cracking of the wire rod. Then, they studied the extension law of the wire rod during the rolling process, repeatedly tested a new rolling method, and basically solved the problem of wire rod cracking in less than half a year.

 

Through research and trial production of materials such as Kama precision resistors and enameled microfibers for national defense and military industries, key materials for precision electronic components such as aviation, electronics, and radio have been solved, and various achievement awards have been won.
