In order to inherit the spirit of Lei Feng, deepen and enhance the sense of dedication and service of youth volunteers, vigorously promote the “dedication, love, mutual assistance and progress” spirit of volunteerism, Jitaian company Youth League Committee carried out a series of volunteer activities, more than 30 volunteers from various units participated in volunteer services.

Promoting the spirit of Lei Feng and helping to separate waste

The youths of Gitane Company carried waste classification pamphlets and mini-bins and walked into the operation area to promote waste classification knowledge on site. The volunteers promoted staff’s awareness of waste classification by distributing waste classification pamphlets and popularising waste classification tips.

At the same time, the site set up a prize quiz activity on waste classification, everyone according to the general knowledge of waste classification will be put into the corresponding bins, to further guide the majority of employees to implement waste classification into daily behavior habits, but also to help the youth league members in learning the Lei Feng volunteer action to learn the knowledge of waste classification.

Youth volunteers from the league were organised to measure blood sugar, blood pressure and cut hair for the staff.

“The spirit of Lei Feng can be learned by everyone; dedication and love can be done everywhere.” This is the teaching of General Secretary Xi Jinping on learning from Lei Feng.

The learning of Lei Feng activity further strengthened everyone’s sense of responsibility and dedication.
