On July 18th, the Shougang Group held an economic activity analysis meeting for the first half of 2025, summarizing the economic operation situation in the first half of the year, analyzing and identifying shortcomings, weaknesses, and bottlenecks, arranging and deploying work for the second half of the year, mobilizing all cadres and employees to build confidence, work hard, complete the annual target tasks, and contribute to the successful conclusion of the 14th Five Year Plan. Zhao Mingge, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, delivered a speech. Qiu Yinfu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, presided over the meeting. The group's chief accountant, Sun Weizhuang, summarized and commented on the group's business situation in the first half of the year. Regarding the special report, Zhao Mingge commented that the cases of the six units not only share successful experiences but also cases where business results fall short of expectations, which have reference value for other units. To learn from the experience of Shougang Jingtang Technology Innovation, Shougang Engineering Breakthrough, Shougang Mining Investment Management Innovation, and Shougang Fund Business Model Innovation; We should also learn from the unexpected communication between Shougang Water Steel and Shougang Real Estate, focus on basic management, and enhance operational management capabilities.

 

Zhao Mingge pointed out that in the first half of the year, facing the severe and complex market situation, the vast number of cadres and employees actively practiced the "one leading and two integrating" policy, adhered to the "eight emphases" business policy, followed the "three laws" to run enterprises, worked hard and forged ahead, ensuring a good start to the first quarter as scheduled and achieving "double over half" in the first half of the year, laying a solid foundation for the successful conclusion of the 14th Five Year Plan. In the second half of the year, facing a complex and severe market environment, we must maintain the "two constants", unchanged business tasks and budget indicators, and unchanged business policies of "eight focuses". We must firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development, analyze the situation and problems more objectively and fully, adhere to the principle of "doing while calculating, doing while calculating", continuously transform technological and management advantages into competitive advantages, use the certainty of internal work to hedge the uncertainty of the external environment, and strive to achieve the annual target tasks.
