Beijing Shougang Gitane New Materials Co., Ltd. is located at No. 9 Fusheng Road, Shahe Town, Changping District, Beijing, China.

The company covers an area of 88,000 square meters and a studio area of 39,268 square meters. Gita currently employs nearly 400 people, 30% of whom are in technical jobs.

In the 1950s, the Beijing Steel Wire Factory (the predecessor of Giane) cooperated with universities to develop the first domestic iron-chromium aluminum electric heating wire. In 1965, under the care of Chairman Zhu De, the muddy dirt road in front of the factory was rebuilt into an asphalt road, named "Zengguang Road", which means "winning glory for the country".
